What is a kWp?

"kWp" stands for kilowatt-peak. It's a measure of the system's potential output. A 2kWp system produces up to 2kW of power under standard test conditions. In Ireland, each 1kWp typically generates 800–1,000kWh a year. The SEAI grant calculation is based on this rating.
